Quick cartilage piercing questions?
1. Yes

2. No unless it%26#039;s thicker

3. If it%26#039;s healed up completely, it doesn%26#039;t matter.

4. about 16g I think... Im not sure though
Quick cartilage piercing questions?
Sure

Nope

Piercing studs as in like regular earrings? Definitely

Usually around 16g
Reply:Yes. If you%26#039;re going to I%26#039;d recommend sticking to a shortish labret stud, they%26#039;re so much comfier

Not really, they%26#039;re great

Everything%26#039;s better than piercing studs; the backs are ridiculously unsterile and they cut into your skin like crazy

16 or 14, it just depends on what your piercer feels more comfortable with
Reply:you can wear a barbell in it, yes

There are no disadvantages i can think of.. It%26#039;s easier to heal a cartilage piercing with a barbell than a ring

Barbells are MUCH better to wear than studs. Studs are typically made out of crappy material (despite what they say) and can actually take longer to heal.

If you get it pierced with a needle, you can get any number of gauges. With a gun, it%26#039;s either 20g or 18g. Don%26#039;t get it pierced with a gun tho, okay? Guns are meant for earlobes ONLY. They can and often do shatter cartilage, causing lots of scar tissue and bumps around the piercing.

Hope I helped!
