How tan is TOO tan??

when you start looking orange
How tan is TOO tan??
orange
How tan is TOO tan??
When you%26#039;re about the color of the bottom of a cookie that%26#039;s not even burnt.

Or when you%26#039;re orange-brown like an old orange.
Reply:When if your white people start to mistake you for black!
Reply:When your skin looks so dark brown, or orange, that you look fake.
Reply:When people question you about it because it your skin is peeling and your orange/brown instead of a nice golden colour.
Reply:when your orange or even super red but still ont he tan side.
Reply:when your orange, more orange than an orange
Reply:orange.
Reply:When people mistake you for a orange or people start calling you an umpa lumpa =] you get the idea?!
Reply:when you can be noticed from across the room, and it aint cos of your dazzlin looks
Reply:Being a pilgrim and getting accepted into the enemy tribe.
Reply:orange or so tan that ur skin starts to get a leathery fake look
Reply:Any tan whatsoever. Your skin changes in color to alert you that severe damage has been done. The word %26quot;tanning%26quot; itself refers to the process of stretching and curing animal hide in the sun to produce leather.

Despite what your fashion magazines tell you, a %26quot;healthy%26quot; tan is a myth. Do a google image search for %26quot;Skin Cancer%26quot; and then think twice about hitting that tanning salon or going to the beach unprotected. It%26#039;s a very unpleasant thing.
Reply:when it looks a bit like an oompa loompa ie. orange!

go natural, if you are fair dont go for too much and if you are darker you can put on a bit more.

it should be pretty obvious whether or not you are wearing too much fake tan
Reply:I think each person has a different point when they begin looking %26quot;too tan%26quot;. I think when you begin looking orange or if you are too dark for the season (very brown in January, unless you came back from vacation) is when your tan looks unnatural. I don%26#039;t think you want to look like you%26#039;ve been tanning but just to the point when you have a nice natural glow to your skin. I would say use the judgement of family or friends but you%26#039;ll probably realize on your own.
Reply:you do know that there are people who are naturally dark? o_O
Reply:when you are orange or your skin looks fake like leather!
Reply:when your ethnicity starts being questioned or you can challenge an oompa loompa with your orangey glow
Reply:when it comes to the point where you cant tell the difference between an orang-otang and yourself
Reply:when your face is the same colour as your hair.
Reply:any tan is too much. It is your body%26#039;s way of protecting itself from further UV damage.it isn%26#039;t %26quot;healthy%26quot; any more than removing the microwave door safety and standing in front of a running microwave oven is. likewise, smashing your skin with a mallet to get that beautiful blue-green-yellow- orange bruise coloration is not a good thing to do. If you HAVE to be out in the sun, use sunblock, if you accidentally get tanned, then take it as a signal to try to change what you are doing and minimize/eliminate exposure.
Reply:dark DARK brown like almost black
